The HyDrive Admiral 211BH is a bullhorn hydraulic steering cylinder for outboard installations, designed to pair with the Model 401N8 helm. It's the cylinder supplied in the Admiral Complete Outboard Kit 1, available here as a standalone replacement or for a new fit-out, in Standard (Honda and Mercury tiller arm fitments sold separately). It's rated for single outboards up to 300HP, or twin counter-rotating outboards up to 600HP total, and is one of the most popular cylinders in the range thanks to its compact footprint, requiring only 540mm of clearance in the engine well. The cylinder attaches directly to the front of the outboard motor and is supported from the motor's tilt tube, keeping installation simple. It's built from bronze, brass and stainless steel for strong resistance to corrosion in the marine environment.
