The HyDrive Commander 512BH is a bullhorn hydraulic steering cylinder for outboard installations, designed to pair with the Model 400 helm. It's the cylinder supplied in the Commander Outboard Kit 6, available here as a standalone replacement or for a new fit-out, in Standard, Honda and Mercury tiller arm fitments. It's rated for single outboards up to 150HP. The cylinder has a 78cc capacity and 203mm stroke, and is built from aluminium with a comprehensive range of protection measures against corrosion and electrolysis, giving strong resistance to the marine environment. Honda and Mercury fitment cylinders are supplied with the matching tiller arm already fitted, to clear the motor cowling on certain outboard models.
