The HyDrive 512BH is a bullhorn style hydraulic steering cylinder for outboards, supplied as an individual component. It suits single outboard engines up to 150HP, and is commonly used as a replacement cylinder or to build a custom hydraulic steering system where the helm, fluid and tubing are being sourced separately. The 512BH cylinder is built from aluminium with a comprehensive range of protection measures against corrosion and electrolysis, giving strong resistance to the marine environment. It has a 78cc capacity and 203mm stroke, delivering 3.9 wheel turns lock to lock, and attaches directly to the front of the outboard motor, supported from the motor's tilt tube.
