The HyDrive Commander COMKIT6 Mercury is a complete hydraulic steering package for single outboard installations up to 150HP, combining a Model 401 helm unit with the 512BH bullhorn cylinder fitted with the Mercury tiller arm. It is supplied as a ready-to-fit kit for Mercury outboards that need the Mercury specific arm, rated 75-115HP (2 and 4 stroke). For twin outboard applications, the COMKIT1 (511BH) kit should be used instead. The 512BH cylinder has a compact barrel design in high tensile aluminium for increased strength, with precision ground and polished 316 stainless steel piston rods for long service life. Cylinder capacity is 78cc with a 203mm stroke. The kit is supplied with 15m (50ft) of 3/8" nylon hydraulic tubing, 2 litres of HyDrive Ultra-15 hydraulic fluid, all fittings, a bleeder kit and the installation manual, and is suited to vessels from 5 to 15 metres. The kit is built as required and comes with a 2 year warranty for leisure use.
