The HyDrive Complete Bleeding Kit provides everything needed to bleed a HyDrive Commander or Admiral hydraulic steering system, whether completing a fresh installation, topping up fluid, or servicing a helm or cylinder. It's the same bleeding kit supplied as standard in every complete HyDrive kit, available here separately as a replacement. The kit includes a hose-tail with an O-ring seal that fits the pump's filler cap, a bleeder bottle cap with hose attached (fits a 1 litre oil bottle) to feed fresh fluid into the helm during bleeding, and a smaller-bore hose to direct old oil from the cylinder's bleeder nipples into a clean container for re-filtering and re-use. Bleeding the system correctly removes trapped air, ensuring smooth, responsive steering free of sponginess at the wheel. Full step-by-step bleeding instructions are included.
