Hydrive 5/16" Flexible Hydraulic Hose is used to run the hydraulic lines between the helm pump and steering cylinder on Hydrive hydraulic steering systems. The flexible construction suits installations where rigid tubing is impractical, such as tight or awkward routing through the hull and hose runs through to the transom and cylinder. The hose is available by the metre, cut to the length required for a single installation or repair, or as a full 100m roll for boat builders, installers and workshops fitting multiple systems. The hose is designed to be terminated with Hydrive's MSH fittings for 5/16" (-5B) hose, available as a field attachable fitting for on-site assembly or as a crimp fitting (crimping tool required). Hydrive strain relief fittings are also available for the cylinder and transom ends to protect the hose from flexing damage at these points.
