Centrifugal blower ideal for marine engine compartments that require venting of warm air. Made from strong nylon material with a capacity of 280 m3 per hour. This flange mount blower has the best ratio on the market, between volume air flow and compact size. Features: Very strong dynamic flange mount Dimensions: 200 x 165 x 195mm Capacity: 280CMH (m3 per hour) Voltage: 12V or 24V Amps: 3.8A @ 12V / 2A @ 24V Port connections: inlet 75mm (3") / outlet 72mm Low current draw Continuous duty Screws and shaft in stainless steel Ignition protected ISO 8846. Also available: Marine Blower Flex Mount 550CMH 4 inch 12V (see related products) Installation: Blower is mounted on flat bulkhead surface In highest part of compartment free from spray or deck wash. Cut a hole in bulkhead and secure blower with washers and screws (Note: Tighten screws evenly to avoid flange damage). Use the suitable discharge fitting so that static pressure of blower will not be affected by change in wind direction. Route inlet ductlng with as few bends as possible to lower 1/3 of the bilge compartment where vapors are likely to accumulate. Be sure ducting is positioned below top of engine stringers but not so low as to become submerged in bilge water. Locate pickup to take advantage of natural air flow direction.
