JPW Marine Polyethylene 3 Strand Silver Anchor Rope is supplied in coils with a stainless steel thimble spliced into one end, ready for connecting to anchor chain or a shackle. The 3 strand polyethylene construction offers high abrasion resistance, while its soft, medium lay makes the rope easy to handle and easy to splice. Designed for general marine use, it is primarily intended as anchor rope for trailer boats. It is available in 6mm to 14mm diameters in 30m, 50m or 75m lengths (lengths vary by diameter, see table below) to suit a range of boat sizes and anchoring depths. Features: 3 strand polyethylene construction Stainless steel thimble spliced into one end High abrasion resistance Soft, medium lay for easy handling and splicing Suitable for use with drum winches Note: Not suitable for anchor windlasses or capstan winches with a gypsy.
