*Note: These Junction Boxes are only waterproof when combined with the SB-2G seal kit [JPW10391] - sold separately, see related products. Scanstrut's SB-8-5 Heavy Duty Junction Box is made from marine-grade polypropylene and is perfect for installations if you need to create a connection for multiple electrical cables. Suitable for areas such as lockers, Lazarette’s and Tender Bays. For IP67 watertight installation, additional SB-2G cable seals are required - sold separately [JPW10391], see related products. The SB-8-10 [JPW10396] box is supplied with 10 modular terminal blocks, offering 10 terminations where as the SB-8-5 [JPW10395] box is supplied with five modular terminal blocks, offering five terminations. Depending on the number of terminations needed, the terminal blocks can be individually fitted or connected together. Unlike other boxes that leave terminal blocks floating, which can lead to loose connections, our design ensures secure and reliable connections. The cables push into the terminals and are held in place by a sprung leaf retention system, which does not damage the wire. The terminal can be removed for easy fitting of cables, and it securely clips into the base of the box. The junction box is supplied with self-tapping screws for installation and includes an installation bracket for quick and easy fitting and removal for inspection.
