The transmitter is fitted with an individual power button so it draws no power until switched on, and an auto power shut off function powers the unit down automatically after a period of inactivity. Each transmitter and receiver pair is set to its own individual frequency code, so operation is not affected by other winch remotes in use nearby. A wireless receiver box is included and wires directly into the winch's existing solenoid, with no additional switching or wiring changes required at the helm.
